Creative: McDonald’s Steaming Bus Shelter Ad

A steam machine was built inside the bus shelter and periodic bursts revealed a message “Your Free Coffee is Ready”. Creative!

    Brilliant marketing idea – unexpected & unique – catches people’s attention perfectly as shown in the video clips. Very expensive to implement though – is it worth it? Does it activate all day & night regardless of whether anybody is nearby or does it react to movement? This latter kind of smart interactivity will bring a new level to this type of advertising (for those with the big bucks anyway).
