Best Web Gallery
Best Web Gallery

After several weeks of hard work, I finally completed rebuilding one of my projects, Best Web Gallery. Note, it is a rebuild, not redesign. I literally went to every single site in the gallery and re-captured the screenshots. Now Best Web Gallery is powered by the latest release of WordPress 2.3. Beside of the WordPress upgrade, I also added many new features such as image tooltip, different display modes (thumbnails, full image, and detailed mode), open external link options, and tag cloud. Check out the gallery now and let me know your feedbacks.

As most of you already know that I’m launching a new site and thank you for being supportive checking on my blog every day. Finally, the site is done and I’m very proud to announce the launch. The new site is called Web Designer Wall. It is my new blog on design related stuffs such as design trends, CSS, Photoshop tutorials, technology, etc. Some of you might ask: “Why do you another site? What about N.Design Studio?” Well, the difference is I want to make Web Designer Wall a multi-author blog and I will keep N.Design as my portfolio site. The existing content on this site will not be changed. I will still provide WordPress themes, Illustrator tutorials, icons, and freebies. Check out my new site and let me know your thoughts.

Illustrator knowhow

Last week I received an email from Adobe Illustrator’s product manager, Phil Guindi, who introduced me a new CS3 feature called knowhow. It is “a technology preview that delivers single-click, contextual access to relevant help information from a panel in Adobe CS3.” You can find the knowhow panel by going to menu Window > Adobe Labs > knowhow (yes, it is very hidden). When you select a tool, knowhow panel will instantly display the information about the tool and tell you how to use it. In other word, knowhow is a live help panel. Here I will show you how to use knowhow and please share your thoughts. more

If you are a big Mac fan, you will love this CSS dock menu. It is using Jquery library and Fisheye component from Interface and some of my icons. It comes with two dock position: top and bottom. This CSS dock menu is perfect to add on to my iTheme. Here I will show you how to implement it to your web page.
